like this...

Hmmm...quite...
*grins*
Is that going to be your dance routine for the christmas party?
*bounces*
OOOh and can I be in charge of the sheet music? So far we have "Jelly Sweets" which in a special preview goes something along the lines of;
"Jelly Sweets,
Jelly Sweets,
Jelly all the way,
Oh what fun it is to munch,
Jelly all the day, hey!"
and theres "Walking in a Jelly Wonderland" and several others which are yet to be settled...like "Rudolph the Jelly nosed reindeer" and other such classics...ooooh and I'll be singing Silent Night in German too

"Stille Nacht, helige Nacht..."
Damn, can't remember any more of it in German than that... mind you, I can't remember much more than that in English either.
It is of course best sung in German.

Gosh I wish I could learn how to pass out thread! Someday...Sigh.
When does the party start? I could certainly attend and be amusingly opionated and flirty. That's flirty, not flighty.
I think I shall talk to Happy Dude about it, I know he could provide some music.
I am rather computer disbaled at this time and missing my Mac, but AnnaNorseGoddess has some good equipment here. At least it has some speed. I guess I will go to the ML Guide and learn how to make smiley faces at least, so I can give out presents.
If excitement counts, I am loaded for bear, ready to party.
(psst: Congratulations Peregrin, nice bird, I especially like the hat.
and the Alabaster House. If I haven't mastered smileys you know I ain't into Goo yet...
I will put my thinking cap on though.
Could someone create a virtual Christmas tree? Perhaps replacing the partriges with the Perigrin Falcon, Mr. President, and then add a few Pears. I love the way the Alabaster House is all irridescent so there must be a way to put lights on it. The tree could be interactive, the threads could be perhap???? accessed by clicking on a Pear. In the french language there is an expression "Un bon poire", it means that someone is taking advantage of you and you are too stupid to realize it. The theme here could be the gift giving sort of thing- naughty or nice. If you click on a Peregrin, well you've been nice and Santa could reward you with something nice... An entrance into a nice thread. If you click on a pear, well use your imagination. Through the different cultures, Santa leaves various useless items to bad little boys and girls. Straw in the wooden shoes of little dutch children or some such. Lets do some quick research from around the various countries involved in the h2g2 and ask for suggestions.
Face it even though Jesus really is the reason for the season, Christmas celebrations tend to gravitate towards the Christmas tree.
Santa always popping in to eat his cookies and milk, and give little children their just desserts as well.
This is called brainstorming....I'm not saying I could make this all happen. It's just an idea, whoever reads this please feel free to jump in at anytime and run with it.
I would also like to sneak in my own personal request to Santa. (If he would let me sit on his lap for just a sec...
JLC whispers into Santas ear***Shuuu
Could I plese have my very own babblefish? I really have been A Very Good Girl! And don't tell anyone that I don't know how to thread, I can so, really well.
Thanks Pres, Congratulations.

Yup it's bestest in German... although my German spelling leaves much to be desired on here as I still can't find the " things and the double SS thing that looks like a B and I can never remember the name of... but other than that it'll be a great rendition

You mean the umlauted letters? Well I can when I'm in Windows, but I'm in Linux at the moment and I've never bothered to work out if you can do the same trick with alt+numpad you can do in Windows. From experiments, you can't.

Yes... I have no idea how to find them in German, I have them in French but just not German and I've spent hours finding random squggles but none of them are particulary useful...is there a list of them anywhere?

If you're using Windoze, try using Character Map. If it's not in your start menu go to run and type in 'charmap'. If still no luck go to add/remove programs, windows components, and root around there for it to install.
It's a surprisingly useful program. And it would be quite easy to write an equivalent for Linux, I'm sure.

I'm sure there already is one... I'm in Windows now so
ß (alt+0223)
ö (alt+0246)
ü (alt+0252)
ä (alt+0228)
are all you need for German. Numbers must be typed on the numeric keypad for some reason.
