Hi Polly,Arthur C Clarke has passed away.
I hope your throat is a little better today,I hope you are OK as I have'nt seen you post anything, those tablets Im taking are making mu tummy really sore so Im just chilling out this evening I've just watched a DVD(The Interpreter)a bt mushy but easy to watch.
So if you are still feeling a bit low Im sending you a big hug

Polly and Pixie Posted Mar 18, 2008
Hello my dear Rick.
Thank you so much for the hug. I needed it.
I've been at my home-group tonight(and kept busy all day). Yes I am rather fed up with the MB's. There is a one-man battle to drive everyone insane, and turn everyone against his brother.
Are you lining your tummy with something like milk? Milk often helps. And are you eating enough? You probably are, so I think that your tum needs a lining so that the tablets do not cause you discomfort.
I have no idea what The Interpreter is about! I've never heard of it!
My throat seems to be a lot better, thank you, although I now have a cough.
It's freezing out tonight. I'm glad that you aren't out there working. Brrrrrr.
I'm sick of hearing about Mills V McCartney on the radio! I couldn't care less about their fighting.
And now there is an item about someone using a mobile phone to 'film' an attack on someone. Some folk are truly very sick and wicked.
So, how's our 'friend' today?? Causing further mayhem?

Hello Bothenhampton.
My throat is much better, thank you. But I have a cough, and my nose is sensitive tonight!
Thank fully I haven't got any Listerine here!! I don't like it. I usually use a clove-flavoured one called?????!!!
You'll be off to Spain soon. Lucky you. I'm away too for a few days~~from Thursday afternoon.
In case you don't post anything else before you go away, do have a happy vacation. Please could you bring me back a little Spanish donkey?
Take care.

Hi Polly,of anywhere nice,my it will be very quiet around here with everyone going orf.
Hope you're feeling chipper by tomorrow afternoon,my it seems awfully long this week with my fridge having no frosted beer in it,why bother making fridges so big in the first place if not to stock them up with a regular supply of something other than water, why the T T brigade must own fridges the size of matchboxes.
Anyway where ever you're all going have fun, missing you already.

Thanks Rikki. Actually, I will porb pop into an ionternet cafe or two during my fortnight - if only to check up on you and make sure you're behaving yourself. Do try to get some relaxation, though. Everytime you come on the boards you're either on your way out to work at some ungodly hour or else you've just got in at ditto. I'm worried that you seldom go anywhere nice - like Dorset or Devon or even here in north Bedfordshire! It must be awful cavorting around the West Midlands nearly all the time.
Anyway, cheers and have a good easter break - You too, Polly, I misssed the bit where you said where you were going over Easter - or is it just for a day or two?
Anywat, I do hope you are feeling better now - both of you. I'll sign in with the occasional Ola! and Buenes Noches, although where I go it's Catalan so it's Bon Dia and Bon noche

Dearest Rick and Folderol,
HAPPY EASTER TO YOU BOTH.
Have a peaceful time~wherever you both are.
Rick, take it easy please. Take the tablets for your tummy. I hope you are not expected to go out late at night during Easter, to work in the icy air. Yes, it's high time you visited beautiful Dorset or Devon! Take Folderol's advice! You need a break from all that hard and cold work.
Take care. Love to you both.

Hello dearest Rick.
I'm back home now, although I am out again very soon for the afternoon.
Have you had a happy and relaxing few days? I've missed you.
Back to the grindstone tomorrow I expect?
I'm drinking my strong coffee and eating some chocolate egg that a friend gave me. I've had some tears too...............
Looks like rain or snow outside so I will have to wear my woolly hat when I go out.

Ah, such camaraderie and kindness! Who would wish to be anywhere else but the message boards!! Don't you just miss them when away!!!
Nothing changes. I've just had a slight moan, but I feel adequately justified!
I wonder if our MB mate has many friends??

Hi polly, hope your weekend away was a happy one,new beau??????sorry for being cheeky Folly says he'll keep in touch via the internet café that will be interesting.
BTW how is the back,I've been on those tablets for a week and I realise now the tablets were useless as there has been no let up with the belly ache,so not having a bevvy was all in vain

Dear Rick,
What on earth is wrong with your tummy? You must go back to your GP~~please. Maybe you simply need a stronger drug/antibiotic. I had to have stronger antibiotics for my last chest infection.
My back plays me up all the time. It flipping hurts a lot at times!
Another beau????? Oh how I wish! I miss everything about being close to someone. Why do you think I have another 'beau'? No-one wants me.
My weekend was really great. I didn't want to come back home. I don't want to be here.......
Have you heard from our Folly? Isn't it strange(or maybe you won't think it is!!), how us oldies (the old gang) sort of gel so well! I know you WILL think this is mad, but I feel a real kinship with us few. And it's not 'cos I need a life!!
Rick, please PLEASE see your GP again. You really ought to.

Do you know, Rick~I often wonder why some folk (women) seem to have it all. And some are left on their own. I look fine, am soft and kind, and loving. And I want nothing really. All I need to make me happy is a picnic, a walk, and some love.
I always maintain that if I wore huge ear-rings, and swore, and showed-off my ample chest, I would be well married by now!! Us gentle one's don't stand a chance it seems.

RICKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK,
You haven't upset me! Of-course not.
Goodnight my lovely friend. Please look after yourself. Make that appointment with your GP.
I hope that tomorrow will be an easy one for you.
'Night 'Night' and God bless you.

Rick, I have an anthology of Edgar Allan Poe's poetry and prose sitting in my lap. I have just read a poem entitled 'To F'. It's really beautiful. Google it and read it, when you have time.

Hi dear Rick.
More long, wearying work for you! Do you want me to carry your bags?? What about your tummy? When are you gonna see your GP again?
Well I do hope that you don't have to work too hard. Pop in for a cuppa if you pass my door.
I was very busy this morning at church. And this afternoon I had a long walk in the woods. My back is aching now. I should go to my home-group tonight, so I shan't have a glass of wine until later! I'm just eating my supper~~I made lots of chilly.
BTW, why 2.40am????? Why not 2.30am?
AND, I hope you noticed that I most certainly wasn't annoyed last night. Far from it, you silly thing.
