I had a Russian girlfriend myself. She was a real piece of work. Anyway, I've been to the Sistine Chapel. I heard it was breath taking. UNFORTUNATELY, ALL the painting were covered up as they were doing to restoration at the time that I was there. I didn't even get to see the Peita! Oh and the ruins at Pompeii were closed the day I went there. If fact, my whole Italian holiday was more or less to go visit family then to take in the sites. I was not a happy hitchhiker.
