Ahh, that's what humorous is, but is there any chicken in chickpeas? '*' Humm, sounds like quite a good base for a currie. Also has anyone ever tried to grow CP's? You really should it's great fun and they make a bout 3 for every one you plant!
Yeliab
'*' - you probably have to have watched UK bigbrother to get that

CP's no, i did grow a few carrots once, i do'nt really have green fingers though, i can't even keep a pot of herbs from sainsburies to live a week. ah well i'll learn .
So you speak polish then... how about giving us a few phrases like
'excuse me could you point the way to the vegetables'??

I think you'll like this I put a little extra something in it. *hic*
*places cake alongside other food, grabs one of Gwennie's famous ciders, and breaks into song*

Rest assured that chickpeas have nothing to do with chickens Humous (think that's the correct spelling - there's been one or two varieties above!) is completely vegetarian, and exceptionally scrummy Find a non-guest stick of cellery and have it as a dip.
nb., Dzien dobry is Polish for hello

Hi guys. Guess I'm a bit more than fashionably late!
Is there any left?
Last thing I went to where people were wearing fancy dress was 'Singalonga Sound of Music' so, in tribute, I thought I'd come as a flibbertigibbet..

$u$ Posted Sep 19, 2001
Dzien dobry to all Polish researchers then!
*grabs another and stops singing, not believing in cruelty to any living thing*

Late again.
Enters naked as I am a Bean.
Anyway I've brought this rather pasty sorry tasty, aduki bean and seaweed pate (struggles without success to find a grave accent) -it's only mildly cannibalistic.
Will someone direct me to the graphix( no thanks I went before I came out) and the conversation, as I have only limited access for chatting (and absolutely no mastercard)
I don't drink, but I take only moderately incriminating party pictures.
Bean (still looking for something to replace tomato puree)

the last time i went to a fancy dress party was ... oh actually it was last week, i had to help out at this kids pocahontis party, quite fun if you like being chased and having arrows fired at you

the hills are alive with the sound of animals prancing around delighted to that we're not going to make them part of our picnic
might have difficulty fitting that to the music...

Last time I actually dressed up for a fancy-dress party was probably at Halloween. . Some might say a vampire is a strange choice for a veggie, but there you go...
Been making banoffie pie this week, so any of you that eat dairy products, feel free to dig in!

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Sep 20, 2001
Hello everyone Good to see the party in full swing. I grew some soya beans once, and in London too - you're not supposed to be able to do that in Britain cos the growing season is too short, but I just started them off indoors at the end of April, and planted them out at the end of May. Delicious

Come on now... don't be shy... how's about we play sardines?
Oh okay then, if it makes you happier, baked beans.
Party Time
beanfoto Posted Sep 25, 2001
speaking as a bean the idea of being baked does not appeal to me, no
Party Time
beanfoto Posted Sep 25, 2001
speaking as a vegan the idea of playing sardines is idealogically unsound

I'd rather find a contortionist and play competitive Twister
