vegiman:-) Posted Jul 27, 2000
Sorry - I thought you wanted Der Sprouts for Xmas - You'll have to wait (Shame) - They'll be English not Dutch. - I'll leave them at the quay, Christmas eve - in a fishermans net - pre-salted
Lady C I hope you enjoyed your meal.
Catcha soon

thanks vegimunger, i still want the christmas ones. Sorry Coelecanth I live in virtual Westcliff, I actually live in a nice little seaside resort in Sussex.
Sorry to confuse you.
I'll leave the customary tip in the usual place veggie, hope all you lovely people have a wonderful weekend.
Hi vegiman:-)
coelacanth Posted Jul 28, 2000
vegiman: Thanks. It was a fab lunch in Mexican place opposite Hazlitt. I went through Maidstone again today, and saw all the pretty boats getting ready. Flowers on the roundabout looked lovely too. I'll probably give the festival a miss cos of the parking, but there is a slight possibility of an evening visit. I love fireworks.
Al: A virtual Westcliff sounds much more fun than the real one actually. I love Sussex seaside. Rye is lovely. Last time I was there I was pillion on a bike. (I visit Rye harbour sometimes. Camber has a great beach, but Brighton has the best shops.

Hello on a rainy Saturday morning *sigh*.
Did I hear something about brussel sprouts? I love them, but here I must wait till autumn to get them. But: now is the time for the french yellow beans, the smaller as well as the bigger ones (called 'Mammoths'), served of course allways with bread crumbs (you know: this one you made in a frying-pan together with some slices of butter).
Jeez, that makes me hungry! I need a Saturday-special-breakfast at once!
See you - Kasia

Enjoy the light show vegiman. Weather here is looking good for it all anyway. I checked out your RL page, but I'm outside your area. However, I will tell my M/S based friends. If I don't see them today I'll be back there on Monday I think.
Kasia - that sounds great. The POST is always looking for recipies if you like to cook.
HI vegiman:-)

Cooking recipes? Well, Coelacanth, that's not a bad idea. I love recipes and I love to eat, but IRL... I can't cook, so this could be my chance.
HI vegiman:-)
vegiman:-) Posted Jul 29, 2000
Good Idea - the POST can alway do with a bit extra - see you got caught on 121 Ali.
Thanks for the recommend Lady C - The RL webpage should be worked on a bit more really
Catcha all soon

Vegiman! The site is just fine. It tells someone all they need to know, all in one place. It does not take ages to load, it gets your attention with a bang and is well laid out. I imagine your customers might be of the more 'silver surfer' types (just a guess here) and they don't want an all singing all dancing thing to frighten them with loads of clicks.
I didn't make it to the fest at all. It rained heavily. I did however get a SMS from friends who were asked to leave a porcine connected pub for raucous behaviour! Quite unbecoming for a lady of my standing I think

Thank you Lady C - I believe a page should load fast but it still needs to be... Mmm I will try and think of something.
Hey TFA
I meant it - it really is a nice page and not what you would expect from a newcomer to h2g2.
Trying to get out of holes seems to a pre-occupation of mine - I dig them so deep
Sorry No Pic - I have kept a lot of people guessing as to the way I look - Dont want to crack any monitors, do we?
Thanks for dropping in and you are always welcome.
Oh and Hi to the rest of the gang - Sorry, due to a new business venture, I may be a bit slow getting back to you.
I do answer all emails and postings as quickly as pos.

Hi Vegiman
I don't have any of my own entries for you to read, but I do have a couple of other people's:

I like the exploding thingies on your page... I'd like them even more if they didn't crash my browser (Netscape 4.7)
