Is this proverbial face of reality green, with a tounge sticking out, and little hands on the side?

Sounds like we are creating a monster here.

I was trying to describe that green facey-thingy on the cover of the Hitchhiker books.

It's no good hiding if everyone knows you are in the breadbin. However, while you are there, can you get me a bagel?
HI vegiman:-)

Hi vegiman
Since you're making it so easy, providing me with a text-box and all, I thought I should say hi & happy new year!
Vegetable racks should definitely be discouraged. There aren't any in my uni house (but then again we have no vegetables either...).
Joanna
PS Sorry to be stupid but I really don't get this fun-run thing. at all.

Hi Joanna
Jenny and Fred the cheese
Welcome to the compost heap - Veggies like the cold, a bread bin would be cosy and warm - what a rotter.
The Fun Run is somewhere you can put your writings for others to check out and proof read for you. Then you can submit them to become official entries to the guide - Just a way to tidy up ant loose ends in your writing.
Thanks for the bagel - I'l save it for later.

Hi Vegiman. I looked at the fun run page (finally) and it looks way too complicated for my primitive mind. I think I'll try to figure it out just before I get back to writing binary.
Best wishes,
Argh "Arghy" Argheson,
the man with the potted plant on his head

Hi vegiman
This is Vicki. I'm talking to myself again.
You posted me a message-thing - thanks. I only started doing this yesterday, so it's nice to know that there are other people out there who will help people like me.
If this turns out all wrong or something, then please excuse me because I don't have the foggiest idea of what's going on. Still I'm going to keep trying.
I'm going now to follow some of the links you posted me.
Thanks again.
Vicki
