So I have a mother who was an atheist most of her adult life going 'kind of' religous on me when she grew older, feeling a 'power in her hands' and, to top it off, one of her six (yes, 6!) brothers seems to be a rather known healer.
So what's the big deal, you might ask? Well, I've always been a sceptic, towards my mother as well as my uncle - who, by the way, says that I 'have the gift too' but won't be able to use it until I acknowledge it.
But just a moment ago, I had a flash - or vision, if you prefer that. I hope it was just my imagination, because if it wasn't, I need to start revaluating my whole existence, and that's a tough order - so let's just hope I'm wrong...
I wish there was a way to save a 'draft' like there is in some forums, but I needed to post this to remind myself

every healer, clairvoyant and the like will tell you, that it doesn't w*rk that way. you can't win the lottery and stuff like that just because you have the gift
but maybe you could fix my internet connection? it's ever so slow

The father of one of my childhood friends used to win lotteries all the time - just objects though, never money.
He could even do it on order - I'll never forget when he took my friend and myself to a tivoli. My friend spotted this *huge* soft toy lion and asked her father 'Daddy, can you please win that for me?'
He bought one(!) ticket and, sure enough, he won exactly the prize that was the huge lion

They never needed to buy any household stuff - my friend's mother would say 'I could really use a new frying pan' or 'a food processor would be nice' and, provided he could find a lottery where you could win those precise items, he'd win them for her. At first attempt.
I remember being in awe of him, regarding him as some kind of semi-god

Me too. I'd like to know what happens, in time.

I'm starting to get a little impatient here myself, so I'm trying to get a 'hunch' as to how and when it will happen.
Snail-mail, e-mail or phone? Telephone call.
Before or after this weekend? After, possibly first thing Monday morning.
