After months of indifference I finally got round to changing to Goo... and it looks so much better! Especially in Mozilla. (Anyone got a Goo skin for Mozilla?)

GOO IS GREAT!
I love the way you sent font to white! How cool!!!
I need to know how to make a page allways come up in goo. I'ts for my astonomy society and I've designed it for goo, but the alabasta users find it hard to read. I've put all links with the ?skin=classic bit so subsequent pages come up in goo but not the first one.
Can anyone help.

There was someone who made some code to do it, and he posted an entry so we could all use it, but I can't remember who it was. You'll have to go through the conversations to find it, or try going through the members list on the main page. I know it's not very up to date (I will get round to it one day!) and the links don't work, but it's one of those on there.
Just be warned, when I had it on my page, people who used Alabaster stopped going to it.

Yeah, I can appreciate that. And I really don't want to descriminate against alabasta users (why they use it I'll never know!). What I'll do is set the background to the goo color and specify the goo text color for every paragraph so that it will be in alabasta format with goo colors.
Though will all the other... yeah it will...

And on the subject of those *alabaster* users, my friend uses it because it's quicker to load at school.

Sign me up, I'm a goo only user, but only on my home page, I don't feel I should force other people in any of my other entries, it's just my fish seem so much happier in goo, There's a link to here from my U page and I even have links to the old buttons!
Mel avid fish fan and goo lover!
P.S Am I right in thinking we have Shimon Young (part of tdv) to thank for the original goo? If so can we not get him to redesign the goo for the new skin? Pretty please, with a cherry on top!

Sign me up too! Alabaster looks so boring, Goo is full of fun, it suits this site so much better. And it's so sad that people visiting will see Alabaster and probably won't get to see Goo unless they sign up. I too, was horrified to find that the goo had gone, I thought it was gone for good until I signed up again for this BBC version and noticed I could change back to goo. I wish goo were the default skin so that people new to the site will see it the way it should be.
