I posted this list at Ask around New Year, before Mum became ill. I'd like to restart it...

1) Lose weight
2) Walk EVERY day not just the non-raining ones
3) Phone family & friends for a chat instead of just texting
4) Attend a school reunion
5) Attend an h2g2 meet-up
6) Recycle more
7) Buy less
8) Spend less time online and more time in the fresh air
9) Finish the decorating I began last year
10) Save up for a sat-nav so I can visit my best online friend
11) Find a partner
12) Check all my old entries for broken links
13) Do more random feel-good stuff like giving away coupons in the supermarket that I'm not going to use

I did have an alcohol-free January but that's nothing new for me. I missed the garden birdwatch though

5 is a good one

When is the next? I used to subscribe to news about meetups but I haven't heard anything for a long time

There's one in Reims in June. A London one has been mentioned in passing, but there's no dates or plans as yet.

I would go along with at least seven of those GB. Must get myself in gear soon, the winter has been keeping me in, and I shouldn't allow it to.

When I said "find a partner" I'm not looking to marry again, I have got used to living alone, (well just me and Goldie) but I do miss the kissy-stuff

To "buy less", I am adding : sell loads of superflous stuff. Failing that, bin it.

5) Attend an h2g2 meet-up - Unless it is very local i don't travel much.

10) Save up for a sat-nav so I can visit my best online friend - I don't have a car and I don't think they do one for pedestrians, except those shoes they brought out recently!!

11) Find a partner - I have had enough of men to last me a lifetime and I am enjoying the single life. Don't read too much in to that anybody, I have been a good girl

Those are all good ambitions, GB.

I think if I were to make a list of 13, one of them would be to travel to England with the express purpose of hugging a GB and an LB.

Hmmm. There's an idea, now.

I'd need some money to finance such a trip. But another on my list would be to become immensely wealthy.

I have plans for a Cleethorpes h2g2 meet-up this summer. However, this depends on time and circumstances, as my life is ruled by Mum's needs at the moment. Luckily I found someone in the exact same circumstances, we met at The Beacon, then bumped into each other at the cinema.
