So the Camerons have a baby girl born in Cornwall today. They want suggestions for a Cornish middle name: dare I suggest Demelza? Although, I thought of it first, didn't I, with Helen Demelza being my daughter #2's Christian names. I suspect there are some lovely Cornish names
... so long as they don't choose "Camilla" (which won't please the Queen...)
... or "Pasty"
... or "Icecream"
All the best to the little one, born on a Full Moon no less I wonder if I should draw up an (accurate) horoscope?

I too was delighted with the news. A lovely place to be born so long as they don't go trendy and call her Pixie

Demelza is a lovely name - they should use that.
The Royal Cornwall isn't immune to cuts incidentally, it has had serious budget issues that past couple of years and has to close down a few departments.

Well you've got me looking now, GB - there are loads of sites listing Cornish names. The nicest girls name I could find was Merryn.

David and Samantha Cameron have named their new daughter Florence Rose Endellion Cameron, the "Endellion" is the Cornish name.

On the page I looked, Merryn was a boy's AND/OR a girl's name, but it was the prettiest, except for Jennifer, which didn't seem exclusively Cornish to me.
I don't think "Endellion" appeared on the list, so they must have done more thorough research than I did.

That was me
The Mods say that my list of Cornish names 'although genuine, appears to be an attempt to disguise profanity'. Presumably a link would be failed for the same reason, so you'll just have to put 'funny cornish names' into a web search engine of your choice and try to imagine which ones I found funny.
Can I legitimately mention the option of Mahershalalhashbaz Cameron?
