I'm not around much online anymore due to having acquired myself a boyfriend. I spend as much time as possible at his home reaping the benefits of having such a wonderful person in my life. Suffice to say I miss you all but I will keep in touch, I intend to keep up the BATS column but other stuff is sliding away. The slow-down of hootoo as a whole, with only 3 new entries per week being published, has removed my appetite to write any more entries while there's a huge stockpile. I'll still fly in and out of PR and journals though, and would be grateful for emailed links to interesting stuff I might otherwise miss,

How is´he with Andrew? Or is that not an issue any more now that Andrew is beginning to stand on his own 2 feet?

Mum enjoyed her guided tour and meeting Gordon and his Mum. I think it will have opened Gordon's eyes a little how frail his mother is 
with them both being the same age and comparing how active the two of them are. Mum was thrilled with the extra place to visit and new people to meet, she'd obviously heard a lot about him and now can put a face to the name.
Gordon is great with Liam, whom he's had a lot more contact with than Andrew. He likes young people and they like him because he doesn't patronise them or talk down to them, he's also interested in what they do regarding leisure activities, etc. Andrew is making a life for himself, getting out and about with his friends from his club (visited Lincoln the last two weekends) and is hoping to travel further afield to the worldwide tournaments possibly next year.

If I were spoken for I certainly wouldn't be hanging around hootoo nearly as much... but that's a moot point as I'm more often spoken against.
