I'm off out to a Motown & Soul disco night in aid of St Andrew's Hospice tonight. I'm all smiley - diva up and just waiting for my lift (Dennis) and had to turn down Phil (smiley - laugh) who also rang to see if I needed a lift. This will be my birthday bash with my friends from the Solo Group, and they're playing my all-time favourite music too, in aid of my favourite charity. What more could a girl want?smiley - magic

It was a brilliant night, ten of us and no Christina, lots of lovely old music to bop tosmiley - ok

I didn't even check my phone until 11.20 (how time flies when you're having fun) and there was a text from Jenny sent at 10pm, I thought she'd be thanking me for the birthday wishes, instead it was to say that she was at the hospital in Sheffield with Harrison because he'd suffered a fit. Dennis brought me home immediately and I'm off to bed now, there's nothing I can do until tomorrow. Just please, anyone who prays, remember my little grandson tonight, thankssmiley - grovel

That poor little mite has had everything going smiley - erm
They're keeping him in hospital - for today at least - for observation, but he hasn't suffered any more fits. Poor Jenny! What a worry to happen on her birthday smiley - sadface

Good to hear that it's nothing too serious, Annie. smiley - hug

I'm sure the little one will be fine. As I don't pray, I'll send healing thoughts. (I'll never forget Beren asking me 'Will I ever get better' when he had pnemonia a few years ago - he 14 now and as strong as an ox)

smiley - cuddle for Harrison

Glad you had a good night GB.smiley - bubbly

I'm sure Harrison will be fine, the thing with babies and little kids is that they can deteriorate very quickly but they bounce back just as fast so he'll be back to his old self in no time.smiley - cuddle

Sending good vibes to little H (same name as my son, and I spent one memorable New years Eve in casualty with my daughter having a febrile convulsion)

However you spell it, it's terrifying and makes you feel very, very helpless. Thank goodness your medical knows what to do.
