Well done, it's the best thing you could do for her.

No worries, GB. Goldie will probably greet you as affectionate as always when you pick her up from the vet.

Kitties , just as humans, respond differently to anaesthesia.
Her Supreme Catesty always has been for almost a day both times she was anaesthetised. Li'l Kitty, and Lynx have just been looking at me like "hey, where have you been? I wanna go home and eat now."
However, last time Lynx was sleeping it was unplanned - he wasn't co-operative at all when the vet should check his teeth. Since he had had his breakfast before we left, I had to take the home with a kitty... Since he is long-haired we had to give him a proper bath afterwards which was NOT appreciated

I think if I were a cat - and therefore unaware of what was about to happen - I'd be a bloody sight more confused as to where my favourite attachments had gone!

Oooh - I just now read this. I trust goldilocks is being waited on hand and foot during recovery? as opposed to the normal amount of waiting upon hand and foot?

Goldie has a check-up this morning, although her scar & stitches look fine to me, no weepage or bleeding and she's not had any ill effects like they said she might.
