Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Started conversation Jun 18, 2009
I was only going to just give up subbing but events elsewhere have made me reconsider being a Scout as well. So I'm taking a break from that side of things too. For those not privy to the Scout forum you can go lurk here with my blessing F3719964?thread=6664756&skip=280&show=20
What the heck did I used to do around here before I started badge-collecting? Oh yes

I seem to recall you having a certain little project you wanted to do
Come back when you are ready, Babe
In the meantime, you could jump back into Yikes!!!

I don't get involved in such conversations anymore GB - take it all with a pinch of salt it's the same naysayers with the same song. I hope you enjoy your rest and I'm sure you'll fill your time productively.

Whatever you do, do it out of love, not out of purpose. As soon as you find yourself saying 'oh no I have to do such and such' its time to take a rest. Use your time for what you love, everything else will sort itself out.

yeah, remember there are only so many things you really *have* to do:
eat, drink, breathe, sleep and evacuate

MMF - Keeper of Mustelids, with added P.M.A., is now in a relationship. Posted Jun 18, 2009
I'm not really sure what to say, but I am of doing a 'Bryan' and shrinking inside my shell after the Hull Meet, as I feel a bit and like a spare . Not that I've been much.
I have enough entries to work on and, being the 'quiet' season, it's probably a good idea.

you are welcome, moonhogg
it was something pandora sent me a while back
she has a valid point, i think. a lot of the things we feel we absolutely *have* to do are actually choices that we burden ourselves with unnecessarily
another thing: one thing i learned from reading the that has brought us all together is to frequently ask myself when faced with a problem "is this actually my problem?"
more often than not it isn't - and then i'm free to take the SEP solution: it's somebody else's problem
(of course this does not prevent me from helping others, but you get my point, don't you?)

Some of the things that were said in that thread were unneccessary.
I hope you don't feel that your contributions to the EG are unappreciated, GB, because they're not. I for one (and I have told you this before) thought the Constellations series was a wonderful project.

Thanks I do know this, and I'm proud of it myself - but it really grates when it's my project that's being criticised *again*. It's a shame really - but then it's the EG's loss. I needed a push in another direction so all may yet be well (for me).
