I'm back again and not a happy entity. I think I got about half an hour of sleep before this cough struck again. Tried moving to the LazyBoy chair but no, the only way it doesn't itch is when I sit up in a chair. I am starting to feel angry.

Am I the only one who noticed the degraded quality of the goo? Looks downright nasty

Your point is taken, Loony
I am currently trying out new things for my page, via alabaster. We shall see the results, I should think, soon enough......

Well, now my page is set, perfect, in both alabaster and classic goo. Woo who! The nice blue background stays the same, and I even updated my page. Hmm... I wonder if the PTB would try to shut me down for what I have on my page right now- I wouldn't put it past them, lately.....

What are the lyrics from?
Nothing will happen to you. If the editor of the Post and the Virtual Mayor of London can spend 10 weeks writing obscene and scatological limericks in two fora of the Aroma Cafe, your page becomes quite bland by comparison.
*piteously* Got any good sleep remedies?
Fth Conversation at Lil's
Researcher 99947 Posted Jun 9, 2000
The goo is back to normal... that was weird.
Sleep remedies, eh? Well, you could always have some nice soothing camomile... caffeeine free, if you can. I've also heard Joltcoladoeswondersforsleepinfactnoiguessyouhadbetternothaveanyjoltasiwouldthinkthatthatisntwhatyouregoingforbutthenagainmarvthegrategivesitnothingbutravereviewsoveratciscosytemsinutahdoesntciscosoundlikecriscohehewouldntthatbefunnyifmarvhadreallybeenworkingatagreasefactoryalltheseyearsandhedidn'tevenrealiseit? oh, sorry...
I tend to suffer a bunch when I can't sleep, so I have a sleep every other day, for five hour routine going for me. It works for me...
That may sound strange, but honestly, I can' sleep every night. I feel guilty for sleeping- all those wasted hours

Oh, that is The Tin Machine, fronted by David bowie, with Reeves gabrels. Wonderful, eclectic, wildly unpopular stuff

What was that top 10 eritude thing anyway?
Ferrari is fine, but what's happened to Ampton?
Now it's happened take no other view
Collision course you must beleive it's true
Now there's nothing left that we can do
When two worlds collide
The anger and the pain
Of all those who remain
When two worlds collide
Who will be left alive
No place to hide

Blatherskite the Mugwump - Bandwidth Bandit Posted Jun 9, 2000
Top ten erudite thing is one of the cool things you get to see from the info page. It's the people who have the most average keystrokes per post. Usually, if I'm not on it, it's only because I haven't made the minimum 5 posts over the past 24 hour period. I have this tendency to run off at the keyboard...
Nope, I have no mug, and I've never been at the kine. After all that work I did on the Guide to H2G2 Clubs (which is on the homepage today... finally ), I'm only just now beginning to delve into the social side of H2G2. Previously, I've mainly used it to post rants, practice prose, and argue.

Spork: I've been by your page, and it suffers from the same problems I experienced. In alabastard, your journals are illegible, along with the times that your forums had been updated.

*sees Superdreamer's flyer lying on the floor as she comes out of her apartments, picks it up and puts in on the table for calling cards*
Disadvantage of the new structure: I can't tell whether Superdreamer has visited here before, not at a glance anyway...
Good morning Mindspring. So it was sunspots yesterday, was it? That IS interesting. How about some fresh spinach, then? *Springie meeps agreeably and crawls to the kitchen*
Anybody want some tea? Did you hear that sunspot activity took down some communications yesterday?
Mike, thanks for checking on Ferrari. He's become rather independent, lately, with Irv away and both of us having so much to do. I'm going to have to take him out for a proper hack.
*realises the full meanings of what she just said* No, really! In horse talk, going for a hack means out for a ride. As opposed to staying in the menage and practising dressage or jumping or something.

Well, Sporky, I like your idea of using the blue background in alab*****d, but like GB says, some stuff becomes unreadable. I think I will stick with Goo and put up one of Redbeards signs.
*Ampton comes in, looking dejected, and plops down in a chair. GL pulls his chair over beside Ampton.*
Don't worry Ampton, Affy will be able to fix it. At least it's better than what happened when I tried to fix it.
*Ampton looks at GL and rolls his eyes.*
