DD, if you don't have any luck finding a chef in the next couple of days I'll do a stint in the kitchen whilst someone else covers the bar

I think that I live for that "Spartus - token drunk" bit. I think it's probably even MORE hysterical if you know him.

Yeah! KM can be the cute girl that stands at the door, ostensibly a hostess, whose job it is to act charming to passers-by but just sneer at actual restaurant patrons.
See, 'cause KM's just plain adorable, and she does the charming thing and the sneering thing with equal ability. *goes back to being drunk*

Please don't give her a stick though. That's the rule KM. You can be surley, but no sticks.

*wonders vaguely whether to be flattered or insulted by the nature of present display of attention*
*decides to be indifferent and snooty instead*
*smiles winningly at a disinterested street artist*

Um, hello?
I understand you're looking for a chef. I have a reputation for Italian cooking, and while I have never been to Italy in my life, I have over 12,367 hours of playing various Super Mario related Nintendo games under my belt. Plus I am the only person in the state of Utah who pronounces "Italian" correctly. Everyone else says "eye-talian"

LOL...my favorite joke about eye-talian. I don't remember who the comedian was.
"Interesting. And where do they speak Eye-talian? In Eyetily?"

Errr....eeep. If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, I am tremendously curious about exactly why that makes you a good cook! Not only that, but that number you said is almost my Researcher number, so I think they should hire you, health inspectors notwithstanding.
I won't be nice to you, because I have a job to do, but I think they should hire you.

Yeah, and someone who hangs around the kitchen chatting and generally being in the way, occasionally venturing out to prove herself an incredibly *bad* waitress?

Demon Drawer Posted Apr 7, 2000
Musican good for going around the tables. Another Bad waitress well you can never have enough bad waitresses I say.

Well then, I should be a wonderful bad waitress, since I've never done it before.
Do I get the job?

Can I have a job working the expresso machine please. I've always wanted to have a go at one of those....

Demon Drawer Posted Apr 11, 2000
Why Peta you can do whatever you want at Mama Peta's if the espresso machine is what you want you shall have it.

DD - are you getting a little Peta obsessessed?
First you name the H2G2 film awards the PETAs, and now the restaurant is named after our favourite Community Editor.
Do I detect a pattern, my friend?

Demon Drawer Posted Apr 11, 2000
Well the PETAs were community awards and Peta *does* make her own Pasta, so it was an obvious choice. Plus think of all the free publicity. $$
