OK gents and lady, here is what to do now:

Phantasy Phootball season six can be found at A38934516. It is very important that you subscribe to that page - go and do it now.

Check that I've named your team correctly and that the links work. Experienced campaigners will notice a new set of figures on the first five rows of your team sheet - this will help you keep track of how many games have been missed for each of your back five, and will save me having to leave messages on your PS.

Read the rules page - A25076775. Even if you are an old hand, give it a skim through - I've changed some of the wording, even though there have been no major rules changes this year.

The player pages are pretty much complete. If you want to submit your bids you may do so, to the usual email address, bearing in mind that most clubs are still busy doing transfer business with each other.

If you are going on holiday between now and the 16th, it might be useful to mention it in this thread, so we can arrange for people to get bids in ASAP.

If no-one goes on holiday, I shall call a halt to the first round of bidding a week today (Thursday 7th) and make a post to the home page to make sure you are all subscribed.

Probably, yes.

Send me two full set of bids before you go: one for your first round, and a completely different set of players for your second round.

I can't promise you a full team by the time you get back, but you should have at least eight or nine, as long as you bid sensibly.

Or, failing that, bid for lots of crap players like you did last year, and you'll be guaranteed to get them.
