Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Mar 6, 2000
I vote Jim Carrey, for his turn as Andy Kaufman in Man on the Moon
~Irving, who can't for the life of him understand HOW the academy could have failed to nominate Carrey

Kevin Spacey for me too.
Is it just me, or does Mr. Spacey look a bit like Aston Villa's carthorse midfielder Steve Stone? Have you noticed that whenever Steve Stone is out with another of the 'broken legs' that he gets more often than I get bills, a Kevin Spacey film comes out immediately after? Coincidence?

I believe he may be referring to Football, or what we in the "colonies" call Soccer.
I'm gonna swim against the current here, and go with Denzel. I loved the battle he had with his inner demons while in solitary.

What about the guy who plays John Coffey in The Green Mile? I thought he was excellent. I'll just go and find his name.

Michael Clark Duncan, or does he only count as a supporting actor?

Demon Drawer Posted Mar 8, 2000
Well if you want to set up the supporting categories, I suppose we could extend.

Jude Law it is then, but is that actor or supporting, which is where oscar has nominated him.

Ok, straight out of left field this one here but I want Jason Schwartzman for best actor. You know, the guy from Rushmore (great film). He was so good, being this cocky teen and making you love him anyway. Splendid as my former physics teacher would say.
