Oh.

Really don't know what you would have to panic about tho. Being unable to breath and feeling as tho one's lungs were about to come out one's throat, just don't unnerstan.

Cerally tho, folks, having found this place and it's inhabitants has been preeety neeet for me. Just didn't understand what some people were talking about.

Going online to meet people? Come on.

I seem to be meeting a much nicer group of people here than on the street. Common courtesy is not so common anymore. And, I live in a small town.

When I greet strangers w/a salutation or an admonishment to have an enjoyable day, I get scowls. I must admit tho, one of the checkers at the local grocer has told me she looks forward to my visits. Says it helps her smile, too.

Oh well, my Bride tells me I'm a naive romantic.

Don't think I'd like most of the alternatives.

You have just been in what is referred to by locals as "the jr zone".
(They also refer to something called "jr time". Wonder what they mean?

Eatsmice.

jr you're so right about the lack of courtesy these days
Glad to say tho that our local village still has plenty
Street greeting goes along the lines of
"aye aye" (hello how are you? )
"aye aye" (I'm fine thanks, nice day, yourself?)
"aye" (very well too, see you later)
