h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Do you know anything about him? It must be 5 years since he died, in his 50's. The estate is still cranking out Cat calendars, but I can't find anything personal about him. Someone just pointed me to a web site with about 50 hasty scans out of his different books. I'm going to put my all-time favourite up tomorrow.
