Wake up and Smell the Napalm
Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Apr 18, 2000
Chicken-throttling -- now there's a fun sounding activity. I have been to your home page, Fiend, and found an illustration. Hmmmm...
IIEM, let me have an Asteroid Lil, there's a dear.

Guess who woke up at 8:30 over spring break for no reason at all? Oh well. I'll take an AL but with glazed donut, to with the RL one I just ate. Mmm.

Okay, so that's an anti coffee and two ALs, one of which comes with a glazed doughnut and not an apple spice. There we go!

Traffic is...cautious today, isn't it?
But we hear that the good Sean Solle, Hardware God, was up at 5 am, either still-up or else up-since, and everything is tickety boo again.
*Puts index finger to forehead ceremoniously* Thank you Sean.
*munches doughnut*

Which would you rather be at 5 AM - still-up or just-up?
Myself I'm for still-up.
And could I get a Greebo?

Ioreth, I've just been reading a big article in the latest New Yorker about the events in Seattle and I think you should try digging it out at the school library (issue for April 17 2000).
The weekend having actually been the anniversary at Waco, it wasn't a good time to confront police, I don't think. I haven't seen the news, and wouldn't trust what I saw on the box anyway, but I hope nobody got hurt.
Tea for me, Irv, green tea the usual way.

Did Joanna just as *me* for a donut???

Thanks and yes I did... seeing as this is your café it would be rude to help myself... and even donut sellers can have a little time off...
*sips anticoffee apreciatively*
'sides, I baked it this morning!

Well, the house blend is always a place to start. After that, I do a wonderful rendition of just about any favorite you may have from the Real World

I need two House Blend Coffees for me and Possum...
At this point we are doing the traditional search for chametz. Actually we're not really doing it the traditional way (involving a feather and a spoon, by candlelight) but we saved an English muffin. Tomorrow morning we burn it.
Meanwhile John Rocker has made his return to baseball, and pitched a hitless inning, against the Phils.
Hoo boy... make mine extra strong.

Two houseblends. Ioreth's is the one on the right, which looks as though it's going to eat through the cup

OK I've just filled out security checks, health checks and character questionaire for the 5th time in my civil service career. I *need* a coffee. A latte mug filled with espresso.

I'll have a cappucino please, Irving.
I always thought of civil servants as tea-drinkers.
