And Leazes, don't worry, many people don't notice when I serve them. I sometimes feel like a stealth poster

I hate this week and I'll be glad when we have our clock change this weekend and get back to just 5 hours difference. This afternoon was just horrible. I...could...almost...see...them but couldn't talk to them! There has got to be nothing worse than having a thread load all but the last 4 messages (those being the ones you haven't seen) and then time out and the 5th banner refresh.
Aaaaargh!
I need to calm down. I need anti-coffee.

Is this conversation limited to people who don't get enough sleep? If it is I probably qualify.
Are children allowed in here? She doesn't make much noise - you won't be disturbed, only I haven't yet found a virtual babysitter.

You know Bernadette, that's an inspiration. Irv should bottle this stuff and market it to parents!
Irv! You'll be rich!

Hmmmm... thank you Bernadette and Lil, I think I just might do that!

Sorry it takes me so long to reply; I do this on me down time at work and I have been ill the last two days.
Irving,
I have the gown on the hook to cover the hole in the wall.
I have the towel covering the drain.
I have the satchel in front of the robot panel so the goes flying when the robot knocks into the satchel.
What I can't remember is how to get the mail into the air so the upper-room flying robot doesn't scoop the babel up, hence allowing the babel
to land in me ear.

Put the junk mail on top of the satchel, which is lying on it's side. When the lower level robot hits the satchel, the junk mail goes flying into the air, and you should be in buisness.

It was banned by act of Congress.
Irv, look, no Jello!
*hopes she hasn't spoken too soon*
May I have a mocha latte please?

Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Mar 31, 2000
*hands Lil a mocha latté*
You know, the accent over that "e" in "latté" get's on my nerves... I keep hitting the command button instead of the option button, and ending up in source mode...

Oh! *begins to feel embarrassed* Whenever I have been adding accent-egus and umlauts and such, I have to access the character map utility and cut and paste. But I'm using Windows and you're on a Mac, aren't you. Anyway, it's a lot of steps and sometimes I just can't be bothered. Someone's probably going to tell me there's a way to do it in two keystrokes, as long as I have the ASCII codes memorized....

Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Mar 31, 2000
There we go, we'll spell it phonetically! Come to think of it, why isn't phonetically spelled the way it sounds?
*hands Joanna an anti-coffee*

Thanks Irv It would be too obvious to spell phonetically phonetically, don't you think? make it harder for people learning English, I guess.
Lil, I've memorised ascii codes, but mainly wierd ones for physics... although I'm supposed to beable to type greek letters in "symbol" without looking at the character map... but I can't be bothered to practice...

I'm not saying that we should spell phonetically phonetically, I'm saying that we should spell it funeticallee. Much easier, no?
