I feel partially ignored myself. I think I'll just say something random..
..Agua. L'eau...
Water is the word of the day. On the way to the water store, something caught my eye. A fire hydrant across the street had burst, which had the appearance of what I would believe to be Old Faithful, the water cascading nearly 20 feet high in the air. Fire trucks and police cars surrounded the air, causing traffic to clutter. It appeared that all eyes were across the street.
After getting the water gallon bottles filled, I looked across the street again. The hydrant burst had still not been contained, and the powerful amount of water escaping it had died down just slightly enough for someone to notice that it was only flushing out at about 15 feet high then. I examined the scene a bit closer, separating the almost transparent blue from the violent white of the water. I thought it was quite a beautiful sight, once you put away the fact that it was costing the city money and water by the second.
Before going home, I got treated to a bar of Ghiradelli chocolate, with macadamian nuts. The chocolate was almost too much for me to finish, but since I was in the mood for it, the chocolate was gone within a minute while I played pinball on the computer. The highest I had ever scored on the game was a bit over 15 million points.
I like pinball; it is an exciting sport, if you will. The flashing lights and the noise is enough to brighten nearly anyone's spirits. The last time I played a real pinball machine was a few years ago in San Diego. I didn't do too well, because I wasn't used to playing, but I do remember it being a Rocky and Bullwinkle pinball machine. I fell in love with that cartoon not long ago.
I think I am craving some water about now, as a matter of fact..
Water, IIEM.
Refreshing, yet satisfying. I won't take another chance with the IIEM messing up my coffee...

*Enters café looking just a little tired..*
Good morning good people.
Anne, tell us a bit more about the water. Why all the fuss? Why do you have to buy so much water? Is there water shortage where you are?
Blææh, I'm thirsty...
IIEM, a pint of glacier water from Jostedal, please.

Higgsy is here (just arrived).
IIEM, large jasmine China green tea please.
I'll just sit quietly while the pounding in my head subsides. It was the local carnival and funfair (with fireworks) over the weekend, and a couple of old friends came over unexpectedly, leading to much celebration (too much). Too many beers, too many rides on the bumper cars, too much wine, followed by too many scotches. It was fun at the time...

*has to kick open the door, due to not having any free hands since they're both busy carrying several large boxes of choc chip cookies and ginger snaps*
Afternoon everyone!
*places cookie boxes on the counter, next to a rather large note*
These cookies were left over from the trade show I spent last week at. Please eat as many as you like. The ginger snaps are exceptionally good.

Hi Bumble!
*thinks*
I have no idea. There's a cake smiley, after all. I wouldn't mind a specific gingerbread-heart-smiley for christmas, either.
*Grabs a pile of choc chip, gone very soon *
