No problem, jerk me boy. Which entry is it? Is it the Mad History Lesson one?
You need to put a at the beginning of each paragraph and a at the end of each paragraph. That will sort out the spacing for you.
Any other questions? After all, the more you sort out before you submit it to Peer Review, the less people will have to heckle you about, right?

Hi, Mikey! I just wanted to drop you a note to say...
mikey--whatever happened to vidmaster's A650369 on robert heinlein in Peer Review or my A849080 in the CWW about the same author? lotsa groundwork laid out already for someone looking for an Edited Guide Entry....thanks
Hi, Mikey!
Mikey the Humming Mouse - A3938628 Learn More About the Edited Guide! Posted Oct 21, 2003
Well, vidmaster's entry is no longer in Peer Review -- I seem to remember that there was a consensus on the thread that it needed more work, and he wasn't interested in doing it. He's also marked it "Not for Review", which indicates to me that he isn't interested in having someone else take it and rework it, either.
I took a look at your entry in the CWW and the associated thread, and it looks like several great people (like Gosho and Xyroth, for example) have made some helpful comments, but that you haven't really incorporated their feedback into your entry yet.
If you really want to get an entry into the Edited Guide on Heinlein, I would say you would want it to be one that:
1) Deals with the comments already made in your CWW thread
2) Includes much of the material that is in vidmasters entry but not in yours -- quite a lot, on first glance
3) Also deals with the comments made in the Peer Review thread for vidmaster's entry, as there were some important points there that probably need including on any EG entry on RAH.
How's that for a start?

excellent start, too bad i don't have the time, graphics ability, computer savvy, or college expertise to write the thing. i was hoping it could be directed to someone who wants a topic for a Guide Entry or university degree. thanks for your time.
Hi, Mikey!
Mikey the Humming Mouse - A3938628 Learn More About the Edited Guide! Posted Oct 23, 2003
Well, if you want someone else to do the work of writing the entry, two possible options are:
1) submit the entry to the Flea Market
2) submit a posting to the "challenge h2g2" page, where people can suggest topics for other people to write entries on

Hi, Mikey! It's Ekaterin here. I've been admiring the pictures of your beautiful cats. I'd like to have cats myself, but my landlord won't let me.
Anyway, I just dropped in to ask how things were going with my Bujold article. (If you want me to stop nagging you about it, then just say so and I will.)
Ekaterin.

Hi there, Ekaterin!
It's perfectly fine to nag about the entry in PR -- threads often slip down off my front page in my conversations thread, and then I forget that I still need to get back to them.
But -- if you nag there in the PR thread rather than here, it will serve the same purpose, since I'm subscribed to the thread, *and* it will bump your thread up higher on the PR list so more people might see it.
I'll go over and post my comments now, though!
Mikey
Hi, Mikey!
Ekaterin Posted Nov 6, 2003
Well, it seemed more polite to remind you privately that you seemed to have forgotten about my article, rather than criticising you in public. I'll bear in mind that it's OK to nag in PR if I ever write another Edited Entry (I'm usually too busy to contribute to h2g2, unfortunately).
Ekaterin.

I may have been the first one to welcome you, but I will bet there will be more over the next day or so. Sometime soon, a handy volunteer called an "ACE" will stop by your space and leave you a message, explaining how this website works, and giving you some suggestions for fun places to check out.
Of course, I'm perfectly happy to answer any questions you have, too.
"who are you speking to when you say a or is that to tell people what to do."
I'm not entirely sure what you're asking here -- could you try asking me again, but explaining a little more?

Hi, Mikey! I just wanted to drop you a note to say... I'm sorry if we've crossed swords again, I know I'm probably being young and immature a lot of the time on The Forum, and at other times around the place. But I value your opinions, a lot and I still think of you as a friend
And I've had a project I did accepted as a poster for a conference, I'm just not sure whether to go myself and watch my supervisor present it or not.
Hi, Mikey!

Oh, no need to apologize. Yes, sometimes I feel the burning urge to whack you upside the head with my reality stick, but h2g2 is a good place for such things.
I may not agree with many of your opinions or assumptions, but I do respect you in that you are always open to discussion and change.
What was the topic on the poster that was accepted? Is it the kind of conference that they make you pay large sums of money to attend?
