Please don't tell me the ending anyone... I want to hire the video when it comes out!!!!

From what I've heard/read, the film more or less confirms my suspicions that nothing is real!!!

Well, you've already had the main secret revealed to you. IMO people ought to be warned when there's a spoiler ahead.smiley - sadface

Oh, I don't mind really! Nothing is real, so it can't be that important anyhow....

Apart from the end, i thought the film was great. The Zoooooooooooooooooooooooom, i'm superman bit at the end - this is code for people who have yet to see the film - is very cheesy.

I thought that the matrix was only good after Neo went into the Matrix for the very first time, then it kicked ass!!!!!! The best bit is the but when h's running for his life in the building shortly before he gets shot dead

Fair enough but I guess if you come to an entry about a specific film/book whathave you it is reasonable to expect that you will encounter spoilers. I do agree however that posting spoilers in an unrelated thread should be discoraged, and certainly signposted.

I hope everyone has seen the Amazing beauty of the American Matrix DVD compared to the english version. The fantastic US version even comes with its own software player to run the DVD through!

However, the uk censors are not that bad. The Uk had a much better release of Eyes Wide Shut than the Americans...

Is it true the Americans have a rated 13 film? I heard about it and apparently when it comes over here it automatically gets translated into a 15 smiley - sadface

Yeah, US ratings are as follows:

NR: Not Rated. TV movies mostly.
G: General Audiences. Kiddie movies, Disney flicks, stuff like that.
PG: Parental Guidance. Not really many of these around lately.
PG-13: Parental Guidance for those under 13. Probably the most popular rating, you can get whole families in this way. You don't have to be 13 to get in, it's just a recommendation.
R: Restricted. If you're under 17, you have to have an adult with you. Although, most of the people who work at movie theaters are very good at overlooking the occasional acne-spotted preteen.
NC-17: No Children under 17. Basically, porno. "Respectable" theaters don't show these films.
