Has anyone seen the third Matrix film?
It sucked. Majorly and profoundly. The dialogue was laughable and predictabe. I didn't care about anything in it.
Unbelievably bad.

I do agree, but what I hated the most was the way the movie ended.

Are you kidding me? The Matrix, all of them by the time of this posting, is a fantastic trilogy! The first being the slowest of the films, set up the other two perfectly. The fx, the cgi, all of it-perfect. There will never be a movie that can top the masterpiece that is the Matrix.
(We'll have to wait and see how the HGGTG works out, of course, but until then I stand by my statement.)

No. Are you kidding me?
The first Matrix was great, the second not so great but still good, the third was unforgivably bad. The only good thing about it was the special effects, but that does not a good movie make, especially when people have become less amazed by it after the first two films.
You didn't find the dialogue laughable and predictable?

MRel and MRev certainly each have some neat visuals, although for the most part, the effects are not as bleeding edge as the the first film was when it was released. Certainly good bits in both movies, but as _Highlander 2: The Quickening_ and _Star Trek V: The Undiscovered Country_ show us, you can put several good bits together and still have a movie that you wished you hadn't bothered to watch.

I was very annoyed by the writing of the third film, but two things stood out particularly:
Trinity, who had the "Let me tell you what I believe..." speech in the first film where she tells Neo where to get off, deserved a better death scene than the 3-minute, drawn out "oh I love you Neo" scene when the two are, in fact, trying to save the world.
And what the hell is the deal with the ending? The machines make a deal with the humans, with no reason to keep their part of the deal. The programs inside the matrix are happy, but the people outside the matrix have a wrecked city.

I agree - Reloaded was AWESOME though. Revolutions just sucked...the answers they gave to all the questions that popped up after Reloaded just spawned more questions, which were never answered...that is, if the question was answered at all. Many of them weren't.
