I'll admit I've never heard of Princess Bride, let alone seen it. I just lurve the Matrix

um yeah. still my favorite movie.

I disagree with the notion that violence is not relaxing. I've played paintball several times & it's great stress relief. You get a real gun, with real bullets, with real people to shoot. (And it can hurt sometimes as well - if you shoot them right!)

Also, I play Quake 3 a lot, which, although not in the real world, is violence. I find that a great stress reliever as well.

My mum is really annoying-every time I watch Buffy she interrupts me and says "violence violence lovely violence" in an angry voice, which REALLY PUTS ME OFF!!!!!

But its just a kids show? Surly she can see that? Try explaining the storyline to her, and if she laughs, then say "Well there you go. Thats exactaly it" dont crusade about it. Convince her its a gwaky teen fantasy spoof and she wont mind you watching it.... she probably fears the violence will influence and decieve you....parents can be scary.

She likes dissing everything I watch Actually, this morning she watched Skandal performing live on TV with me and for once she was praising them! This was the funniest one: she says "they must be fit to do a dance routine like that" (she doesn't understand the modern meaning of "fit" )

Imagine my joy to seeing a Matrix conversation here! I loved the movie (I have most of it memorized) and I can't wait for the sequels. I seriously have no life, I think....lol

And did I mention I LOVE Keanu Reeves?

He was pretty good in the movie!

Oh, and I love the quote at the end, when he's in the phone box, saying something like "I can't tell you the future, it's already written", or something like that!
