If it's a stannah stair lift, does that mean Dame Thora Hird is a mould?

i wish i knew the answer, and whilst i love the idea of it being a fungus... I'm just not sure...
What is love?
Menza Posted Aug 21, 2000
Life as a fungus would be a little dangerous, don't you think.

Cakewalker Posted Aug 21, 2000
Worse than life as a stairlift? If I were a stairlift I could think of worse people to be sat on than Thora Hird. At least she's small. And would make for good conversation, though I think if people saw her in those adverts talking to the furniture it might not have the desired effect on Stannah's sales. But it might prevent all those intelligent stairlifts from getting bored and going on strike, or revolting. That would really dent their sales as I know very few people who would want a ride on a revolting stairlift.

I've often thought that life as a flower would be quite good, just lazing around and whistling down the wind

Cakewalker Posted Aug 21, 2000
I'm sure you could find one to curl up inside and watch the world go by. Next best thing...
btw., have you just come in from The Millhouses?
What is love?
Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Aug 21, 2000
We do live in a free world after all...
*wonders how many obscure Ace Of Base lyrics she can get in one thread*
Ummm, Millhouses, tonight? No why were you there...it being a Monday an all I generally find the best thing to do is stay in and recover from the shock
What is love?
Cakewalker Posted Aug 22, 2000
Yep, I was there. A friend of mine had his 22nd birthday yesterday.

Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Aug 22, 2000
Happy Birthday to your mate but does that mean you're 22ish as well? If you are then I'm sure you must know the same people that I know
What is love?
Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Aug 22, 2000
As I said before "we live in a free world"...
*wonders if putting it in quotation marks will encourage people to join in*
Anyway we already did the it's a small world thing before, but we almost determined that it wasn't too small...however, if his mate is 22 I'm now waiting to see if I have to reconsider
What is love?
Cakewalker Posted Aug 22, 2000
Reconsider what? Whether it's a small world?
OK, I am 22. I'll be 23 in November. Deduction time here - which school did you go to? Meadowhead?

Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Aug 22, 2000
No...It's not me I was thinking about it's the bloke I mentioned before when I was trying to work out if you were the bloke I mentioned before...sadly I can't remember which school he went to but he is 21 so there seems to be a distinct possibility that you will know him...
Hmmmm

Cakewalker Posted Aug 23, 2000
Are there any other distinguishing features apart from him having a ponytail?
What is love?
Cakewalker Posted Dec 3, 2000
Depends what the ponytail is like, I guess. If it's dyed pink, then probably not, but I would say a naturally-coloured ponytail is more distinguishing than ordinary length hair that's been dyed pink.
