The Who's Online feature has been broken in Ripley for years, and (dramatic pause) it's still broken. The good news is, the Tech Team has built an all new Who's Online feature in Pliny.
This feature *will* be rolled out across the Ripley skins, but if you simply can't wait, you can use it to see Who's Online in Pliny now.
Just click on this link, or copy and paste it into your browser, http://h2g2.com/whosonline and you'll see a list of the registered users online.

As per the Announcement, it's only picking up from Pliny at the moment. It *will* get rolled out into the Ripley skins, but hey, we couldn't wait to share this with y'all

It picks up quickly, when people are online, as I just switched to the new skin, and lo, there I am. well, it says its me, but I'm a little dubious....

It auto-refreshes every minute, and (currently) stores a user for ten minutes after their last activity. So if you're reading a long post, you've got ten minutes before it decides you've left.
It also (at the moment) only orders users by how long they've been online
