Your PS, any entry or forum, or any conversation, in Pliny should show you in Who's Online. But just refreshing a single page won't.

So this is why we get logged out when we change to the Pliny skin.

Please go to A87753135 to report any bugs. Who's online should not log you out, neither does Pliny. Other things may, please report over there. Thank you.

Hey! it just picked me up but I'm using Ripley! Or else it picked me up 'cause I looked at the Who's Online page. That didn't happen last time.

OK... I'll just continue to use Ripley for convo navigation. I just can't switch fully to Pliny until that gets sussed.

Me too the convo navigation is a deciding point for me on the skin front still

Which part of the convo-navigation do you use / needs to be in Pliny?

I use the convo popup from Brunel. The main things I find most useful are

a) It autorefreshes each minute and highlights each individual convo when there's a new post.
b) I can go directly to the first UNREAD post.

In Pliny, you either end up at the beginning or the end of a conversation and have to find where you left off on your own. Not very useful.

When I'm on the conversation list on my PS, or in the 'vconversation list', on clikgin on 'see more', or whatever it is called, here, in alabaster/ripley; you get the links which are to the conversation, this includes the link to the last post I made in the thread, which is sometimes useful; if I've read quite a few posts in the thread, but want to be reinded what I last said; or be remidned of waht the posts were, just after my last post, so that is a useful link.

The most Useful link is the "XX new posts", link (where XX is the number of new posts), as this brings one back into the conversation at exactly the right place; immediately after the last post I made, or the last post I read, at the first new post since I last read/posted to the conversation...

Also, (and I might be wrong but I think this is still the case), the links at teh moment, from the conversation list/PS, to the conversation, don't take you to the actual post? err I might have to check that actually, as I can't quite remember
