That's not what I mean by 'lazy'. There's nothing wrong with slang. We all use various different versions of English - when we are talking with friends we might use a much more informal version than when we are trying to express our thoughts clearly in a forum. Let's face it - many, if not most, people tend to read what they want to read rather than what you actually say. If you express yourself in a muddled way that makes the problem worse. Some of us don't have English as our first language; some of us don't have the benefit of a good education; some of us are dyslectic. But all of us have the ability to work on what we write until it's as clear as we can make it. When I post a message to a forum I am constantly going back and trying to improve sentences to make them clearer. I get the impression that you probably do the same. This serves as both a courtesy to the reader and as a means of expressing your thought as clearly as possible.
