h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I live in Waldfeucht. A small village (actually, I live in an even smaller satellite village, population: 400).
It's very very quiet. That's the best and the worst thing.
The very worst thing: there is no pub in our village, and due to it's location no cable tv, very bad radio reception and only 2 busses per day (not on Sundays or public holidays) so I'll have to sell my car to afford the petrol
And its redeeming features? Hmmmmmmm. I have made some good friends here, there are plenty of children for my kids to play with, and I can let them out in the garden and stay in the house without worrying about their safety.
The very best thing: finally we can have pizza delivered!

I live in Stockbridge, GA, just south of Atlanta.

The worst thing about htis place is the traffic. Atlanta is in constant state of grid lock, and Stockbridge has been getting steadily worse. Our county commision keeps allowing more construction, but they're very slow about improving the roads. There's no bus system,a nd no where to bike.

The best thing is that we have freinds here. I guess that can make anywhere tolerable.

Still, I'd move if I could afford it.

So, home is really what you make it. Some people might like traffic but have no friends. It's strange to think that they would then put it exactly the other way round. This applies to all postings so far. Just a thought on a Sunday morning.

the flatlanders on there way to lake tahoe casinos, they dont say hi they ask, can you pull me out of the snow, but its not all bad , all events = adventure the storys are good, what do i do here, minning(gold) mainly logging a faller, will i find my way back to this spot, i wonder lolwhy did i reply. my eye saw the word rhine, i think of the rurr vally, i am from total english stock and yet, the first thing i remeber that i got , for myself was a german helmut . i was 8. there is somthing about germany that has been in my mind ever since i can remember, very odd ,but it is so. i am rambling, i do much better when asked.
