Yorkshire Tea Biscuit Brew

I just tried this for the first time, and it’s certainly unusual!
It’s tea which has the inbuilt flavour of dunked biscuits. Here’s a review:

So, what’s your opinion?
And is this the beginning of a new revolution in food flavouring?

That is an odd concept... "Nearly but not quite entirely unlike tea", by the sounds of it!
When I dunk biscuits the aim is to contaminate the tea by the least possible amount while still achieving the perfect biscuit dunkedness, so biscuit-flavoured tea doesn't particularly sound like something I would enjoy...
Interesting review, though - malty flavoured tea sounds more tempting, but it also sounds potentially too sweet... What did you think - is it as sweet as it sounds?
It took me long enough to work my way through 40 bags of tea leaves mixed with chocolate flakes - with milk it was too weak and without milk it was just a bit too bitter, although it smelled nice - so I'm wary of this...

I don’t think there’s any sugar in the flavouring, so it may be your brain playing tricks. I add sweetener and milk to my tea anyway.

I rarely drink tea unless I'm in a Chinese restaurant. Not much of a tea drinker, so I'd be unlikely to try this. But maybe someone could come up with a cherry danish-flavored coffee.

I saw this in a shop the other day and thought 'yuk'.
It went no further.
As I write this, I'm less than 400 yards from the factory that produced this stuff {visiting my mother in Harrogate).
I could get there via a petrol station if you get my drift.....

I wonder if Betty’s would serve it?
It’s certainly not unpleasant. We had a good argument in the office about which biscuit it was most like, and the consensus was Rich Tea.

Ah, that is interesting that you added sweetener and didn't think it was too sweet like the reviewer did.
Rich Tea flavoured tea does sound more intriguing, but yeah if I were in a Betty's Tearoom, the only option would be Betty's Blend for me... I have sometimes partaken of 'Afternoon Blend' tea in the afternoon rather than 'English Breakfast' tea, so biscuit flavoured tea may be a good afternoon alternative...
