Friday the 13th - worry or wonder?
Rev Nick - dead man walking (mostly) Started conversation Jan 14, 2017
Lots of folks see it as a bad day for anything, omens of doom and ill-fates.
My final day of military time was a Friday the 13th - and it was a release from much, and the beginning of a new life. Yesterday, it was the birth of a son to a very good friend.
What have such days done to you, or for you?

Nothing out of the ordinary.
Yesterday's Friday the 13th included a trip to my father's place to help take him to the bank, the barber, the drugstore, the grocery store, and the town dump.

I'm not superstitious, but I always felt Friday the 13th got a bad rap. It's still a Friday after all, right!? It can't be all bad. Monday the 13th is the one that will get you.

Wednesdays and Saturdays can be pretty bad too, according to Churchy la Femme;

I've never had any particularly bad experiences on Friday 13th – except once back when I was at uni when one of my friends decided to host a Friday 13th Night. I'm not overly fussed about slasher films and seeing one of those films occasionally is okay, but it is very easy to overdose.

Mentioning "suit" - - - maybe that explains my ill-fortune when playing most card games. Thirteen cards in each suit!
