Oh.
I thought maybe you were hoping she could derail Donald Trump's campaign. 
I would have trouble supporting any of the remaining Republican candidates.
In any event, I always thought the Queen was required to be above politics. After all, she is not allowed to vote because she *is* the government.

The family line a long and if the current family do not want the job there will be another distant family member who will take it on.
It will put a bit of a blight on the tourist industry as well, they offset a large amount of their running costs with tourist revenue.

Queen Victoria had nine children. Of those, eight have living descendants. It's really a very large number of people.

If the Queen were a republican, she could abdicate and allow someone else to take over, in this case Charles.
Alternatively she could campaign for the abolition of the Monarchy, a decision which would have to be made by the government if they wanted to do so. I don't think the government are required to ask the people's opinion before making such a change but they would be well advised to hold a referendum.
