I mean, no-one runs out of disk space these days. Except you maybe?

I've just discussed this with a group of my expert colleagues, who maintain high-availability desktop services for multiple global blue-chip clients, including 75% of companies listed on the FTSE, Dow Jones and Hang Seng stock exchanges.
They suggest you try switching it off and switching it on again.

When you say "I've recently run some updates", do you mean Firefox updates, or Windows or something else?
Mozilla don't want you to uninstall Firefox updates for various reasons:

iPlayer uses Adobe Flash, so you might want to try upgrading that.
Or as Silicon Dioxide says, you may simply have run out of disk space or something. What error messages do you see in each case?
