What things will be unacceptable in fifty years?

Cash will be less and less used, but I don't think it will completely (even by those who aren't very poor) disused quite by 2062
I also suspect that there will be a resurgence in coins and such as stylish etc once it drops below a certain level of normal usage

I ordered a watch from a site in the USA. A card came through my door telling me I had to pay VAT or something on it before I could have it - £18 or so. Fair enough. So I roll up to the central sorting office in the middle of the city and present my debit card. "Sorry, it has to be cash."
I did feel like pointing out that it's 2012, not nineteen eighty muddyfunkin TWO. "We only take cash", he says to me. And then wonders why he'll probably be out of a job in a few years' time because most of my parcels don't go via the Royal Mail any more. Wonder why not? Load of useless bloody t05sers.
