Sorry, there's a bit of stupid human self-destructive behaviour going on with people around me right now, on top of the usual human misery we all have to face each day.


I think a lot of the time I just have the plan for the day cycling through my brain, planning routes, adding refinements as I go along. As well, there are diversionary entertainments like working out math problems, considering literary questions (just a moment ago I was working out the scansion of the phrase 'Diogenes was blind'). And songs.

But mostly I think my brain is planning, constantly planning, as I go about my day.

Now, I'm thinking about beer... specifically porter, stout, mild and the like... and trying desperatly to remember the name of the stout they had on a couple times last summer at the pub near me...

I've been thinking about beer quite a little lately as well, since j_z_d and I have taken on this little project: A82116227

I'm now thinking about oatmeal stout, Adnams mild, Bayjing black stout, Expresso stout and sex... I really oughta be thinking about bread and what I'm going to change in the recipe tommorrow

Currently my thoughts not taken up with remembering plans for the near future (this afternoon's work plan, tonight's arrangements...) are mainly centred around the propsect of starting back on the spanners, back on shifts without so much as a thankyouplease after nearly seven years in the orifice where I settled in nicely and have until now enjoyed my job even though that's not strictly speaking allowed.

I'll be seeing you guys a lot less too, my computer at home has been falling out with hootoo
