One of the most interesting things about that thread is the writing *around* the links, swl - otherwise it would be no different from a list of links on any news site.

Tricky one this. Students have a right to demonstrate against raising tuition fees. However when there is a demonstration the thugs, marxists, anarchists and brain dead see it as an opertunity to further there cause, smash things up, fight with the police and generally have what they view as a grand day out with their mates.
What the police have to get better at is seperating the thugs from the legitimate protesters.

In fairness I dont think that's possible. Realistically. Especially when you add in the protesters who get caught up in the moment and become mob...
I'm just not sure how you define one from the other in a way that will stand up in law because i'm pretty certain it would have to
