Does anyone remember Chicory Tip & know what happened to them?

That was Son of the Father and others wasn't it?
I seem to remember the last I came across them was seeing a clip on Never Mind The Buzzcocks and one team were asked to pick a band member out of a line up.
Otherwise I've no idea (before my time you see )

Their old PA speakers are stored under the stage of the Portsoy town hall, or at least they were about 15 years ago when I last looked. I heard they were left behind when they were doing a tour of small venues in the '70s. The band's name was stencilled all over them - they were a pair of six-foot stacks, with about 4 x 15" driver units each, as I recall.

I stand with head bowed and cheeks flush with shame before such mighty trivia people.

According to their website, http://www.chicorytip.net/, they're still performing.

You can hire them if you want. I don't imagine you'd want, but there's no accounting for taste.

Thanks Captain, after checking the link out I've realised that it wasn't the band I was thinking about anyway .
Does anyone remember Pickettywitch & what became of them other than being very big in Japan?
