how do you link to just one post in a thread??? and not the whole list

To link to a conversation, do this:

To show the thread from post 4 onwards, do this:

To show ONLY post 4, do this:

F19585?thread=6735827?thread=1

all i do is copy/paste whats in the address window

What skin are you using?

In Alabaster, I click on the orange arrow that points to the post I want. This makes the URL specific to that post and then I just cut and paste from the address bar.

eg your post is this:

F19585?thread=6735841?thread=#p82549873

the normal white one

brunell is it?

So your post three would be:

F19585?thread=6735841?thread=1

You cut and past the thread URL and then add the '?skip=2?show=1'.

No brunel is definitely not white. I wish!

Go to preferences and see what you are using. Although you don't actually need it for what you are wanting as it's the same in all skins.

You are skipping the number of previous posts, and then you show 1.
