DVD: Chronicles of Riddick, cos i love cheesy action films
CD: Erm, some cheapo compilation of UK Bhangra DJs and another cheapo chill out CD cos it had PPK Resurrection on it. Only it was the Radio version and not the version I wanted
Did PPK release anything other than Ressurection, or is there somewhere else I can get the full non radio version of said track?

UberGek, I bought Garden State a few weeks ago. I'd heard a lot of hype about it and was thinking that it'd probably be a bit boring, but it's the best film I've seen in a long time
Lately I've bought:
Grounhog Day
Interpol - Antics
Interpol - Turn off the bright lights
Arcade Fire - Funeral
and today I got Turin Brakes - Jack in a box

Ooh, I love Syd Barrett! (Mentioned several postings back, i'm afraid! )
Last DVD bought: Dario Argento's "Deep Red", and "The Ruling Class".
Last CD bought: albums by the Super Heroines, Donovan's Brain, Mad For the Racket, Hurdy Gurdy, Angie Pepper, the Sleepers, the Shazam, Mystic Tide, the Eastern Dark's "Where Are All the Single Girls", and Agression. (Went on a bit of a retail therapy binge, eh?)

Ladies only: have you seen that bit in I Robot when Will Smith is in the shower silhouetted against the window. Thats worth the price of a DVD in itself, if only for the fantasies you can contrive later.

Don't buy many DVD's as there arn't that many films out there worthy of a second look, but I did invest in a Father Ted DVD the other day, and now I've got them all, Ha Ha. The last CD I bought was Marquee Moon by Television (only because HMV were selling it for less than a fiver) I thought that when I grew older, the music of my generation would be replaced by newer, more exiting, inovating music, but here I am, in my mid-fifties still surrounded by the same old crap.
Key: Complain about this post
