There are too many people here already. Bobness knows how many have slipped in under the wire and it's beginning to effect the quality of services. You just can't have a community that anybody can join just because it's successful and full of expensive features. Where would that lead, everybody would join HooToo. Us residents have rights too, you know.
Me, where did I come from, what difference does that make, I'm a resident now. Well, yes ok, I did arrive on the back of the Save the Albatross Campaign but that's gone now and you can't send me back.
Quick pull up the drawbridge.

Well in a community as mature and wise as this I say we need a political party. We've got everything else, pubs, clubs, religion. Join me brothers and lettuce form the HooToo National Party or HNP. Policies, err, err KEEP EVERYBODY NOT LIKE ME OUT yerrr, thats good. VOTE FOR meeeeeee.

I tried starting a new political party a few months back. It didn't take. We couldn't even agree on a name.

I remember on live childrens teevee once when Michaela Strachan, refering to a childrens party, verbally slipped up and used the word 'farty' instead. That made me laugh.

Well, has there been a flood of new Hitchhikers to Hootoo on the back of the film's release or has the site now moved on to a point where, apart from the name, h2g2 and DNA are a liittle puzzling or even of no relevance to majority of Researchers?

Spaceechik, Typomancer Posted May 2, 2005
Well, it's almost 6 pm Pacific Coast time, in California, there are 73 researchers on, and 19 of them are "new this week". That means, that they ....are.... ummmm, (counts quickly, then divides sloppily) x100 ... oh yes, about 26 % of those on right now.
I think (mops sweaty brow)..

Well as far as I can understand it (which is about as far as London is from Croydon) there are two hitch-hikers franchises floating about. One owned by the beeb and the other owned by 'other'. The two were once one but slowly drifted apart over the decade over arguements about how many heads does Zaphod have? and what shape is the Heart of Gold, but either way it all adds up to forty two in the long run!!!
