Anyone fancy a pint in London on Saturday 30th April?
Whisky Started conversation Apr 21, 2005
I'm going to be in London that w/e...
Alone, unloved
and probably feeling very sorry for myself
(Think I'm getting the sympathy vote yet?)
Unless of course someone wants to keep me company whilst I renew my acquaintance with Real Ale (in vast quantities I imagine )
So far, this micro-mini-meet consists of Mina (possibly) and Me...
Anyone else out there interested?

D**n... We'll probably cross paths in mid-english channel then
I'd wave to you when I'm going past but it tends to get a little damp if you open the windows on a Eurostar!

I'm likely to be hammered already, going to a party on the 29th.

Er actually....
I'll be in London that weekend visiting Reddyfreddy! We were planning to go and see some new movie that's just been released
But certainly up for a pint before or after. And of course if you wanna see the fillum with us, more than welcome.

er, word to the wise amigo, but you'd be better off going off to check your diary. All checking your dairy will do is tell you if your cows are happy.

I've been to the dairy and consulted with the heffers, and they seem to be under the impresion I might very well be free on this day. I'm not a fan of technology, you see, all this paper diarys and such like, I find it easiest to keep a hurd of cattle, and get the heffers to remember all my important appointments. aparently they told me I've a job interview in about an hour, guess I ought to get ready, now where has that badger gotten to with my interview hat

Ok, so the next job is for someone to find out where and when the films playing...
I had a quick look at the Odeon - Leicester Sq. but at first glance it looks like they don't start showing the film until the Sunday or Monday

Dear God it's impossible!
You'd think a city that claims to be the centre of the universe could give you cinema listings for next weekend
I'm failing miserably - the Odeon on TCR is showing the fillum on Thursday....but doesn't say until when, ie will it still be showing on the Saturday. And I can't ring the number from outside the UK

Would love to Wiskey - now all I have to do is organise a ticket, re-arrange the diary to make room for the the 13hr flight -there- and (where's Concourde when you truly need it huh?) . . . . oh shoot!
Greeen with envy though, would give . . . . hmmmmmm . . . a lot! to be in London on Friday. My two best friends in the world live in the UK and here I am, abandonded to the wilds of Africa.
Hope it all works out famously! Have a pint for me would ya?
Kosh

Abandoned to the wilds of Africe?
Sounds like fun actually!
Whereabouts are you?
(Oh, and if you insist - I will have a pint for you - I only get back to the UK about once a year in general and am heartily sick of french beer! - So I'm planning on making the most of it)

Right.
The movie is on at the UCI Empire at 6 or 8.50. Tickets about £10.50. Reddyfreddy and I are aiming for the later showing.
