What is your impression of Right & Wrong ?

Right is a good thing. I'm not sure that I like Wrong very much, but without Wrong there wouldn't be a Right. We would be amoral beings like the ichneumon wasp.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Three lefts do...
Otherwise I think there isn't such a thing as right and wrong - only circumstances that dictate 'social' behaviour.
It's wrong to steal this cake from the cake shop, but it's right to steal this loaf of bread as my baby is about to die of starvation without it. Circumstances, not actions.

is this perhaps in response to the Pope's (and a certain uk unmentionable-at-the-moment's) comments about relativism?
Cos personally I find anyone who says that there is an absolute right and an absolute wrong to be somewhat questionable. Not saying that their opinion isn't right (one of the problems with relativism is that for those who believe that relativism is wrong, that opinion is right), but I find the arrogance of saying that 'X is always and absolutely right' to be extremely obnoxious. It is the way it rights off every other opinion without consideration.

In a generalised sense, I find a lot of stuff that is 'right', can be a bit on the boring side, and a fair deal of the 'wrong' stuff is just far more exciting and good fun. Why does the devil have all the good songs?

Arguing that sometimes it's wrong to steal and sometimes it's right to steal doesn't imply that there's no such thing as right and wrong. All this implies is that right and wrong isn't simple. If anyone wants a simple moral code with a set of behaviours in the "always right" column and a set in the "always wrong" column, then they're going to be disappointed.
But that really is not the same as saying there's no such thing as right and wrong. I've met a lot of people who say that they think that there's no such thing as right and wrong, but I've never met anyone who really thinks this. Does anyone really believe that what the Nazis did was anything other than morally despicable, and that the reason that what they did was wrong is not just a judgement based upon what society thinks, but on a deeper sense of the value of human life and of right and wrong.
It's easy to mistake doubt, confusion, and disagreement about moral issues for there being no truth about moral issues. But I think this is an error. It's true that it's difficult to find out about what is right and wrong, and that there are disagreements, but none of that means that there is nothing there to be found.

It can all be quite relative but what can apply to everyone is that doing right is likely to bring about what you actually want.
Whereas doing wrong the opposite.
Ofcourse I know that somethings called wrong by others ar right for me so where does that leave us?
It is as others have said very worying to meet people who claim to know everything that is right and wrong as they often believe that they by this grand overview of oth right anf wrong should have the right to enforce that others follow their moral code. Which is oten the worng thing as it really gets people upset.
Im off before my head starts to spin.

It's easy - right is love, compassion, acceptance, tollerance, not fears and no attachments.
Wrong is opposite all the the above!!!
So simple it is.
