Ask Jeeves as well; I like the ability to easily restrict searches to the UK (useful when shopping). I do get annoyed by the Ask Jeeves banner remaining when you have entered the site.

I have a Google toolbar which will automatically search UK sites if I want it to.

I've a toolbar set up in Firefox that searches either Google, IMDB, hootoo, yahoo, amazon or E-bay... so it depends what I'm looking for.

Google. Even though I have the option of using aol which is powered by Google, I still insist on using Google, it drives my partner nuts.
And, sometimes, not often, Yahoo.

I like vivisimo for 2 reasons
1. The clustering trees
2. Preview the site on the page without opening more windows

I use Google alot but am thinking of changing because I heard recently the way they rate sites is by the number of people who link to that site, which means stand alone sites such as personal probably wont get picked up.

Altavista as it has the best ability to do very narrow searches.
