*I'll give a report about a korfball match which i'll play next saturday!

hmmm....An Irish ex-pat's football game in CT, USA. Lots of goals, drunken players, and dirty / merely exuberant play!

Ermm...some rather enthusuastic Scrabble playing with my parents over the Xmas hols????

My last sports game was a bunch of kids huddling around a football shouting 'man on' and moving at random around the pitch... Oh, this was in 1995.

can't even remember what game it was but it was in the early 1980s

My last game was a curling match on Dec. 19th. Instead of the usual 8 ender we changed it to a 6 end skins match. That gave us more time for the Christmas party in the bar afterwards. I have never curled a skins format before and it worked very well. We cleaned up on the competition for the first three ends scoring a couple of four enders. That would have put the game out of reach in a normal fomat but in skins you only get the single point for each end. This allowed the other team to come back and tie up the game in the final end. We all had a lot of fun as usual as it is not a seriously competative league. I will encourage the organizers to use the skins format again for the wind up bonspiel.

A game of rugby, around about 1982 or 1983, I reckon. I *do* know that we won, as we were unbeaten in that competition.

Seven a side football, on an astroturf pitch (hockey size). Good game - we won and I scored once.

Don't remember much more about it, to be honest.

I went to Wales with the Mrs (I didn't take her to Bangor) and we played pool. The good thing is we are evenly matched. Like any sport or game, when you are evenly matched with your opponent you have the most enjoyable game.

Oh the dreaded astroturf! I last played on astroturf in the early 90s and I've still got the scars. It rips yours legs to pieces.

Yep. Sliding tackles are banned in our game. I've still lost skin off one knee, one elbow and various other body parts in the three years I've been playing though. At least it means we don't get any diving for penalties.

oh, yeah...we play korfball on a similar sort of underground...once completely skinned both knees...

Oh silly me...english isnt my primary language... "last sportsgame" would suggest that one doesnt sport anymore...I mean, i think, latest sportsgame...

December 25, against my brother whilst trying out my new bow on a bale of straw and an old feed bag. To prove yet again that I've got a better eye for a sitting target than he has.

an exciting korfbal match yesterday! with a 3-0 behind into half time, the second half was thrilling! goals flying, and a ref who definetely needs glasses! the end score was 10 - 10!

What the Hell is Korfbal anyway?

An excellent sport!
