indeed it shouldnt apparently the killer was p*ssed at dimebag for causing the split of pantera, now in my opinion if you love pantera so much you dont go killing one of the guys that made it so good, technically shooting one of your heroes, the killer was shot dead by cops on his way out.

i mean ive never been that big a pantera fan bbut i had/have respect for darrel for being one hell of a guitarist
and it makes me blood boil that a pantera fan would kill one of his gods for being in a new band and not only taking people down as well as dimebag, but, killing abbot in front of his brother

I am deeply saddened by the loss of a great guitarist.
A guy that always played from the heart fer sure!
As a guitarist myself,I used to look forward to his columns in guitar world magazine.I remember when he offered to buy anyone that learned a particular riff of his a six-pack and sent in a tape.
Man,he was pissed off that no one took him up on his offer.
Dave, where ever you are,rock on ! You will be sorrily missed.
The whiskey in my bottle will always be there for you.If I wake up one morning and my amp is on 11 and the bottle's empty I'll know where it went.
