It's no good whining randomly about not having new smileys. You need to come up with some useful suggestions.
I'd like to see a "shrug" smiley so I can stop using

Some time ago I asked for a 'spectacle-wearing' smiley. Not the 
- it's not smiling. I want a smiley that's wearing specs. I haven't heard a peep out of them. I suppose I shouldn't hold my breath.

...and with reference to the long conversation at the old thread... I have what I believe to be a First Edition of THHGTTG book (it is a paperback) which is well thumbed and very faded - dated 1979 it does not carry the strange green/blue grin thingy - which I have never even seen! (ISBN: 0 330 25864 8) - Which I guess should make me feel old..?
Hope this makes some sense to someone
