2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Jul 27, 2004
I don't think I'd ever consider one of these or their alternatives.
MP3, which I think they all use is not as good a quality as CD, I'd pressumbably have to sit down and transfer about 500 CDs worth of music onto it, and then I guess keep lugging the thing about in the house, rater than just caryring a single CD upstairs to put on up in my bedroom, or in the kitchen, or in the lounge, etc... I really don't see what possible advatage they offer,I'd prefer to see CD standard replaced with a more modern higher quality format, I wonder what is happening to DVD audio's and the like...

I agree with you to some extent 2Legs, but I see mine as being no different from my USB dongle.

Mine appears to have the same quality as any CD I own actually. Plus the transfer of my CDs to my computer weren't all that bad as I have much music on my computer already adn that can be transferred easily

Advert in today's paper.
5,000 songs. Music 24 hours a day for the next two weeks or one song every day for the next 13 years.
Oh well there we are then. Indispensible.

I think this is a pretty cool idea; cost wise, probably comparable to a high end chemistry or biology text!
